Everything Anne makes is personally crafted by caring hands from the grain she grinds freshly on each baking day to each hand kneaded loaf to the hand wrapped, labeled and delivered delight you take home. She cooks in a tiny kitchen up in the highest habitable corner of Montreat, 2,000 feet above the Swannanoa valley floor. Because of the altitude, weather, and humidity changes, she alters the recipe daily by feel, to assure the highest quality. Each loaf is weighed before baking so there is the same amount of dough. However it is God who makes them rise and bake and so each comes to you with its own unique stamp of divine shape and texture. The flavor, the quality and the love are what make each bite an experience to treasure from her heart to your satisfaction.

When this catches on I'll do more flavors like the bread. This is comparable to the energy bars in the store, only much better for you being whole grain fresh ground, excellent for carbing up before athletic events, or for a simple breakfast, toasted, plain, or dripping with honey and butter.

The story behind it Anne’s Power Bread
Caterer, Mother of 8, I developed this specialty bread for my own family of avid Soccer players.
To pay for my children’s soccer, I began making bread by grinding and baking on the same day 100% whole wheat bread. We were competing on club soccer teams and I realized that most of the children on these team were not eating good carbs. A diet high in complex carbohydrates consumed no later than 4 – 5 hours before serious competition appears to positively affect endurance. But so much of the high carb energy food is so contrived sort of like bad tasting chocolate bars.
So I created a product packed full of complex carbs from over 10 grains that does not taste like health food usually tastes. If endurance is important to you then . . .
